Our Journey

Our story begins with DP Narayan Bhat, a visionary agriculturist from Durga, who transformed barren land in Phajinadka into a self-sustaining farm. His resourcefulness later led to an unexpected entry into temple ornament design and manufacturing, despite having no prior experience. The business flourished organically through years of dedication and learning.

The work was carried forward by DP Diwakar Chiplunkar, and later expanded exponentially by Sudarshan Chiplunkar. Observing a growing global demand for handcrafted temple ornaments, Sudarshan established Sri Siddhi Vinayaka Exports to serve both domestic and international markets, including prestigious temples and institutions.

Recognizing the challenges of rising costs, competition, and seasonal slowdowns, Sudarshan implemented lean management principles, minimized fixed expenses, adopted a fully outsourced operational model, and introduced precise material tracking systems—especially crucial when working with precious metals like gold and silver.

Through this disciplined transformation, what was once a business burdened with ₹50 lakh in debt evolved into a venture with over ₹2 crore in reserves.
